Coalition of Small US Businesses Sues China for $8 Trillion Alleging Coronavirus Cover-Up
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. - Apr 10, 2020 - The Tu Firm (TTF lawyers), a California law firm including Attorney Hoang Huy Tu and Attorney Walter Teague, III has filed a class-action federal lawsuit against the Chinese government on behalf of small businesses in the U.S. and California.
The lawsuit blames the People’s Republic of China for starting a worldwide pandemic that has resulted in the biggest economic disaster we’ve seen since The Great Depression.
This lawsuit alleges that China failed to alert the world about the severity of the COVID-19 virus and that China manipulated and lied about the number of deaths and the number of people infected. The lawsuit also claims that China covered up and destroyed medical evidence that would have evidenced the severity of the new strain of the Coronavirus.
People in Wuhan started to die from the virus at the end of 2019, and it is alleged in the lawsuit had China acted sooner, the spread of COVID-19 could’ve been contained.
The case, currently pending in the United States District Court, Central District of California, Southern Division, is entitled: Cardiff Prestige Properties, Inc. et al. V. People’s Republic of China et al., Case No: 8:20-cv-00683.
The Tu Firm looks forward to fighting for the people and businesses across California and the country. Please contact The Tu Law Firm if you are or have been economically impacted by the Coronavirus.
